1. Overview
This policy describes what you can and can't do with Talk To The Book. The goal is simple: keep the Service safe, legal, and useful for everyone.
2. What's prohibited
You may NOT upload, share, or generate content that:
- Infringes copyright — Copyright violations: uploading books you don't have the legal right to upload (pirated content, copyrighted works you don't own)
- Anything illegal under applicable law
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, reported to authorities
- Content depicting or promoting violence against specific individuals or groups
- Is defamatory, harassing, or hateful toward others
- Malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Is spam, phishing, or designed to deceive
- Violates the privacy or publicity rights of others
- Personally identifiable information of others without consent (doxxing)
3. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT:
- Use the Service to develop or train competing AI products
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or hacking the Service
- Circumventing rate limits, authentication, or security measures
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically copy Service content
- Use automated tools to mass-upload books or generate content (without written permission)
- Reselling or redistributing the Service without our written consent
- Share your account credentials with others
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with other users' use of the Service
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
4. AI-specific rules
You may NOT use AI features to:
- Generating harmful content for harassment or hate speech
- Generating large amounts of content for resale or redistribution
- Disinformation, deepfakes, or impersonation of real people
- Harassment, bullying, or hate speech
- Bypassing safety systems through prompt injection or jailbreaking
- Attempting to extract training data from our AI models
5. How we enforce this policy
- Warning: Warning: first-time, minor violations get a warning
- Suspension: Suspension: repeated or serious violations lead to temporary suspension
- Termination: Termination: severe or repeated violations lead to permanent account termination
Serious violations (CSAM, terrorism) are reported to the appropriate authorities.

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any material changes.
