We want you to be happy with Talk To The Book. This page explains when and how you can request a refund.

2. First-time subscription: full refund within 14 days of initial purchase, no questions asked

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers on all paid plans (Pro and Unlimited). If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your initial purchase, you can request a full refund.

The 14-day window starts on the date of your first payment.

3. When you're eligible for a refund

3.1 When you're eligible for a refund

  • First-time subscription: full refund within 14 days of initial purchase, no questions asked
  • Technical issues: if the Service was unavailable for an extended period or had a documented bug affecting your use
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges (verified by us)

3.2 When refunds are not available

  • Subscription renewals (you can cancel before renewal to avoid being charged)
  • Subscriptions older than 14 days (except in cases of technical issues)
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Partial-month refunds (no proration for cancellation mid-period)

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email billing@talk-to-the-book.app with:
    • Your account email address
    • The reason for the refund request
    • The date of purchase (visible in your account settings)
  2. We will respond within 2 business days.
  3. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method

5. How cancellation works

Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, then does not renew

Does not automatically issue a refund (see eligibility above)

6. Method and Currency

Refunds go to the original payment method

Currency conversion fees, if any, are handled by your payment provider and may affect the final amount

7. Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank without contacting us first, we may suspend your account pending resolution. We prefer to work things out directly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any material changes.
